Two Weeks Review

The Signals Service has been running now for nearly two weeks, 11 trades 6 winning trades with 5 still open and running in profit, a total of 699 pips as of writing this blog post, great reception in the number of sign ups.

NEW DAY NEW ...

New day and new trades and even new subscribers, interest has been good for our launch of the signals channel, competitively price and more than accessible to most, trial starts from £1.

You wont see trades everyday, you wont see us promising unbelievable results, or crazy win ratios, because they dont exist, ask yourself if these people are seriously making 100% a month and more then why is it so important for you to sign up to their specific broker?

Theses people out there claiming to make 5000+ pips per month, ask yourself in which market or currency pair? Because remember not all pips are calculated the same.

We have lift off!

This weekend has seen the launch of our Forex signals trading service, it has been really well received and lots of interest from many different parties, we had our first sign up with 12 hours of going live!

Although the markets re-open tonight in the UK, I wont be making any new entries or making any alterations to any open positions we have until tomorrow evening, as I set my trades around the daily time frame and don't need to view anything until the next candle has formed.

I'd rather trade the daily time frame for 15 minutes, than have to trade the 15 minute time frame all day!!! 

21/02/2020 daily update

Finishing the week on a high with the Forex trading, really starting to get to grips with executing my trades, using an expert adviser on MT4 in conjunction with my algorithm has helped speed up and streamline the process.

 I have received some great feedback from the Instagram community with the trades I have placed over the past couple of weeks, I may only be demoing my system but it is definitely proving to a profitable one.

Yesterday evening I opened a trade on AUDCHF pair and woke up this morning to a 30+ pip move, not yet at take profit levels, hence why there are still two trades open the screenshot below, tonight I have opened a EURJPY trade, showing a small loss as not yet overcome the spread on entry but algorithm was showing a baseline cross, so that's why I took the trade.

 Finally the GBPNZD trade that's been open since 13th February reached take profit and closed one half, I've moved the stop loss to break even but not yet activated my trailing stop, will review on Monday evening next week.

Speaking of encouraging feedback I am going to fast track the release of my signals trading service and release this before I go ahead with a full on copy trading service.

20/02/2020 round up

Yesterday I had an open sell trade on chfjpy, this had already hit my Take Profit level for one half of my trade and I duly moved the stop loss to break even on the other half, before I could review it at the end on the day candle closure, it had reversed, closed me out at break even.

All was not lost as my algorithm had presented another opportunity as the price had crossed over the baseline, showing a buy trade along with my other indicators.

Take profit on the buy trade was achieved before lunchtime today and then moved the stops to break even on that trade too. The market has not yet moved sufficient distance for me to activate my trailing stop but its not too far away. Current screenshot of my open trades along with my trade which hit TP today.

My 2020 Vision

Halfway through Feb and 2020 is going well, back test done on Forex algo and continuing through with the forward/demo testing, little wins and little losses offsetting each other, mixed in the 100+ pip moves, its coming together nicely. My MT4 copy trader gained the first follower this week, this is a demo account and as such you can only link demo accounts to the copy trader account, I do intend to convert my copy trading service to a live account soon.

I will be trading with an IC markets account as they cover Singapore Dollar markets v's the 8 majors too, where as my current broker only offers USDSGD. Also by using the same broker as myself you dont have to worry about slippage where one broker is offering a different entry price to mine and you miss out on the extra pips.

I am going to make my copy trading service, most affordable and available to any and everyone and set my fee as low as MT4 will allow, I think this is $20 per month, but was hoping to be able to set it $10 per month.

This is service works much like a managed account, except there is no profit share involved, you keep all of your profits and only the cost is the small management fee.

2020 So Far So .....?

Since the turn of the year I have been working hard back test my Forex trading algorithm and switching in and out different indicators, my results were all over the place at the start of January but recently I think I have started to stem the bleeding. The current set up I have has proved well in back testing, initially I only tested the baseline, then added in my first confirmation indicator, followed by a second confirmation indicator and supported with a volume indicator which has proved the most successful in eliminating losses in back testing by keeping me out of poor volume trades.

Because as VP said - " We win by not losing"

I initially started at the end of 2019 with a £10,000 demo account but through trials and testing I managed to work this down to less than £9,000, it is my aim with algo to build this back up to the original balance and then earn 10% extra in demo phase but I am willing to commit funds into a live account.

Over the last week I have managed to make profit of 2.6% and still have around 1% in open trades.

I have traded and executed these trades in the way that VP of no nonsense Forex how shown me through his many blog posts, podcasts and YouTube videos, these have been an excellent resource and have really changed my way of think in the world of Forex

XAGUSD

I've just been reviewing and altering my algorithm, I decided that the current silver short trade is no longer valid. Some people may call it tinkering and not giving my algo a chance to play out, but a radical change like this means I'm measuring a win or loss against an algo that I didn't enter the trade with.

Tonight I couldn't identify any new trades using my Forex algorithm, so I switched it up and had a look at the metals markets, I have entered the silver/dollar market looking at shorting this over the coming days, the daily candle has crossed below baseline (yellow MA) and the on chart indicator has flipped downwards along with my secondary indicator showing a sell instruction.

My position is minimal as I am not entirely sure I have got the risk correct on metals markets yet. Something I intend to get sorted before switching from demo to real money.
